This is a perfect dessert to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Transform your kitchen into a vintage ice cream parlor with this delicious strawberry sundae! Ingredients:

(4 servings)

2 cups of strawberries, halved

1/4 cup of water

2 teaspoons of strawberry gelatin (or unflavored gelatin)

1/2 cup of sugar

2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice

For the strawberry sundaes:

4 scoops of vanilla ice cream

1 ounce (28 g) of chopped nuts (optional)

Fresh strawberries for garnish

Rainbow sprinkles

Whipped cream

Melted chocolate

The first step is to prepare the strawberries. Wash and dry them well. Then, cut off the green tops and halve them. In a pot, add the strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Let it reduce slightly until it reaches a syrupy consistency. Remove from heat and add the gelatin previously dissolved in a tablespoon of water. Mix well and refrigerate to cool, or you can serve it warm with ice cream and other toppings.
